Morning Consult listed the approval ratings for all 50 governors.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) and New Mexico Governor Michelle Grisham (D) have 47-41 and 44-43 approval ratings, moving the races from solid to likely democrat (won't move the races any closer unless I see a strong republican opponent enter).
Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo (D) has a very poor 38-55 approval rating and can't run for a third term, however her low ratings could bring her successor down, Rhode Island moves from likely to lean democrat.
Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont (D) has an even worse 32-48 approval rating and won the previous election by only 3 points, Connecticut moves from likely democrat to tossup.
Florida Governor Ron Desantis (R) won election in 2018 by only 0.4 % and now has an impressive 57-20 approval rating, Florida moves from tossup to likely republican.
Probable Outcome: 28-33 Republican Governors.
Median Outcome: 30.5 Republican (gain of 1.5). 19.5 Democrat (loss of 1.5).
